Chicago's zine/comics/author/poet/cookie-centric reading series Two Cookie Minimum is back Tuesday August 29th, 8pm at the Comfort Station Logan Square 2579 N Milwaukee Ave. The series held residency there each summer in 2015 and 2016 and we're excited to be back at one of Chicago's most interesting public spaces. Weather permitting, we're looking to take the event to the lawn and read to the open Logan Square.
The reading lineup includes performance poet Jane Haldiman, zinester Rory Britt (of Burn Black Zine Distro), writer Randy Ross (visiting from Boston, MA), and YA author James Kennedy. Hosted by Johnny Misfit. And as always there will be free cookies.
The reading is open to the public. Donations accepted at the door to support future Comfort Station programming.
Two Cookie Minimum is a reading series that aims to bring together writers and self publishers. It gives emerging writers a forum and showcases the Chicago zine community. CHI PRC is a sponsor of Two Cookie Minimum. Cookie drawings on the flyer from Pomona Za who doodled them during a pastTCM reading.
