The Puppy Mill Project in Chicago and countless cities across the nation will celebrate National Puppy Mill Awareness Day on September 17, 2017. Join us as we march down Michigan Avenue. Everyone is welcome.

This event is free, but please help us gauge attendance by registering at

Rescues are encouraged to walk with us, bring banners and wear your rescue t shirts.

We will assemble at Plaza of the Americas, on the west side of Michigan Avenue, just north of the Wrigley Building. We will walk to Oak Street and back.

Refreshments will be served in the Plaza of the Americas after the march. Chicago Police Department Chaplain, Robert Montelongo, will provide a non-denominational 'Blessing of the Animals' following our walk. He will do a blanket blessing for all the animals present, and will then offer individual blessings for those that would like them.

Please join us and bring friends! Dogs are welcome, but all dogs must be leashed.
