We wrote a book! The first, comprehensive guide to Chicagoland's taprooms and brewpubs. Celebrate the official launch of the Beermiscuous Field Guide with us! Books will be on sale for HALF PRICE (only $7.50) during the event!
You already know Beermiscuous has the largest local beer selection of any bar in Chicago. But we know that you also love to drink fresh beer at taprooms and brewpubs. So we created a valuable resource for your beer adventures with all of the vital information you need to know before you make your brewery visits. You'll likely even learn about breweries you've never heard of before!
To kick off sales of the Field Guide, Beermiscuous is hosting a launch party on Saturday, August 19 from 12pm to 4pm. The Field Guide will be on sale for $7.50 and since the Guide is chock full of interesting stories and tips about each of the breweries, Beermiscuous will be hosting three conversations during the launch party.
At 1:30pm, the Beermiscuous crew will chat about why we decided to put out a book, and how we went about compiling the information.
At 2pm, Chris Bradley and Brendan Watters, founders of The Kings & Convicts Brewing Co. in Highwood, Illinois, will discuss their experiences about opening a new brewery and taproom in 2017.
At 3pm, beer industry veteran Ray Daniels, Founder and Global Director of the Cicerone Certification Program, will share his thoughts on Cicerone’s impact on craft beer in Chicago and beyond, and on the evolution of Chicago’s craft beer scene over the past 25 years.
Can't make the party? Don't despair! In addition to being on sale at Beermiscuous, the Field Guide will be available for purchase on Amazon and at various breweries, retail locations and gift shops in the Chicagoland area. Visit beermiscuous.com for the latest information.
