Kaveh Akbar's poems have appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry, Tin House, PBS NewsHour, A Public Space, Guernica, Boston Review, and elsewhere. He is a recipient of a 2016 Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation and the Lucille Medwick Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America. He is also the founder and editor of Divedapper, a home for dialogues with vital voices in contemporary poetry. He is the author of «Calling a Wolf a Wolf» (Alice James Books, September 2017) and the chapbook «Portrait of the Alcoholic» (Sibling Rivalry). Kaveh was born in Tehran, Iran and currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida. He will be a visiting professor at Purdue University in Indiana in Fall 2017. kavehakbar.com/#/
Charif Shanahan is the author of «Into Each Room We Enter without Knowing» (SIU Press, 2017), winner of the 2015 Crab Orchard Series in Poetry First Book Award. He holds degrees in Comparative Literature from Princeton University and Dartmouth College and an MFA from New York University. For his work, he has received awards and fellowships from the Academy of American Poets, the Cave Canem Foundation, the Frost Place, the Fulbright Program, the Millay Colony for the Arts, and the Starworks Foundation. Twice nominated for the Pushchart Prize, he is currently a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University. charifshanahan.com/
