Below are the instructions for the UIC Latinx Heritage Month Connections Gala.
The Inaugural UIC Latinx Heritage Month Connections Gala will feature a networking dinner for 300 people. And the Gala will feature a keynote presentation from Junot Diaz.
The networking dinner is open to students and UIC alumni / UIC community partners. Doors will open at 6:00 pm at the UIC Forum with dinner commencing at 6:30 pm.

For students, staff, faculty, and community members not attending the networking dinner but attending the Keynote presentation, please reserve your spot at the Eventbrite link below. UIC students, staff, and faculty can secure a free ticket at the link. But there is only one ticket per iCard allowed and the ticket is only valid when shown with an iCard.
Community members and guests must purchase tickets for $25.00 at the eventbrite link below to reserve their space. Doors will open for the keynote presentation at 7:30 pm for the stage presentation that begins at 7:45pm. Junot Diaz will begin his presentation at 8 pm and hold a public book signing following his presentation.
