Summer may be wrapping up but there's more great fun on the horizon, so mark off your calendar for our upcoming festival. We will be celebrating the colorful season with a special day of autumn fun! There'll be storytelling, beekeeping demonstrations, River Trail honey for sale, beeswax candlemaking, birds of prey presentations, fall color walks in the woods, hay rides, pumpkin painting, pumpkin bowling, crafts and other activities.
A family friendly event with free admission; there will be some food and drinks for sale and small fees for some activities, or donate a non-perishable food item to the Greater Chicago Food Depository in exchange for activity tickets. 1 item = 1 ticket.
Parking with shuttle service for River Trail Nature Center’s 2017 Fall Festival will be at Glenbrook South High School, 4000 W, Lake Ave., Glenview. Shuttles begin running at 9:30 am.
