Do you see a problem on campus you would like to fix through building an service, app or other program? Some challenges around the NU student experience will take years to solve--others might be tackled in a quarter, or even a weekend.
Apply to the Improve NU Challenge: bit.ly/INUC2018
The Improve NU Challenge is a pitch competition focused on empowering students to implement their ideas to improve students' everyday experiences at NU.
From course selection to finding affordable housing, many students have great ideas to improve the student experience but are unable to implement them because they lack the resources and knowledge to navigate the system. In partnership with the Office of Student Affairs and The Garage, the Improve NU Challenge empowers students in how to implement those changes, something ASG does every day.
Students will work in a team of 1-4 students to develop the strategy for an idea that they aim to see implemented at NU and will present the idea to administrators from across NU. Winning teams will work with ASG in the spring quarter and fall quarter of the next year to execute their ideas across campus as well as win the below prizes:
1st Place: $750 and Residency at The Garage
