As we look forward to Easter, we want to be preparing our hearts and minds to reflect on Jesus’ journey to the cross and the hope offered in his resurrection.
To help us begin this season together, we would love for you to join us at one of two Ash Wednesday services:
Wednesday February 14, 6:30 AM & 12:00 PM
Park Near North, 1001 N Crosby St.
Childcare will not be provided. There is free onsite parking.
This will be a time of music, quiet prayer, and the imposition of ashes as a sign of sorrow for our sins and a reminder of Jesus’ saving work on the cross. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent which is the 40 days leading up to Easter weekend. These 40 days have historically been used by the Church to reorient our hearts around the reality that Christ has died for our sins and He resurrected from the grave as evidence that all of our sin has been fully, freely, and forever paid for. Come, invite a friend or a coworker whom you’ve been having spiritual conversations with — and take advantage of this great opportunity to point ourselves back to Christ and the cross.
