Get ready for the biggest attendance challenge of the year!

PRIZES:
First Place Team — $1,500
Second Place Team — $1,000
Third Place Team — $750

The week’s schedule is as follows:

MONDAY, February 12th: Well Wish Notes*
Stop by the Norris Ground Floor between 10:30am-3:30pm or Main Library between 7-10pm to make Well Wish notes to be included in Cradles to Crayons Ready For School initiative.

Our goal is to help Cradles to Crayons put a Well Wish Note in each of the 25,000 backpacks being distributed to children living in low-income and homeless situations in Chicago to help make them feel valued and boost their confidence.

*Each well-wish note created will count for the attendance challenge.

— TUESDAY, February 13th: Trivia: Tour de DM edition*
Enjoy 3 rounds of Finish The Lyric trivia followed by 3 rounds of trivia related to Cradles to Crayons and the issues they address.

Subcategories include:
— Top 40
— Divas & Boy Bands
— Theme Songs
— 2000s
— Cradles to Crayons
— Poverty in Chicago

*Every person that comes to trivia will earn points for the attendance challenge.

— WEDNESDAY, February 14th: #GiveLove Sponsor a KidPack Campaign
#GiveLove to kids in need by fundraising for KidPacks today! Each KidPack funds a year’s worth of essentials for a child in Chicago. Rules for the attendance challenge component below:

Already started fundraising? Great! Fundraise $33 (enough for 1 KidPack) today and receive 1 attendance point. Receive an extra attendance point for every additional $33 you fundraise before midnight.

— THURSDAY, February 15th: Part 1: Introduction to Systems of Oppression Panel*
7:00pm Annenberg G21
Systems of oppression are complicated and difficult to fully grasp. This panel will focus on introducing housing insecurity as well as education and food insecurity and begin to unpack the ways in which these systems interact with one another.

— FRIDAY, February 16th: NUDM Days of Engagement Pt 1.*
Volunteer at the Giving Factory! Help create KidPacks that Cradles to Crayons provides to children in the Chicagoland area from birth through age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations.

— SATURDAY, February 17th: NUDM Days of Engagement Pt. 2
Volunteer at the Giving Factory and/or the following ECF partner sites:
— Evanston Public Library (3 volunteers for a morning shift from 10-11:30am; 5-6 volunteers for an afternoon shift 2-6pm)
— Mudlark Theater (12 volunteers for 1-4pm)
