Improv for Writing:
This Improv For Writing Workshop is a crash course in the philosophies and methods that Second City and The Harold Ramid Film School uses to find, explore, and create material. HRFS and Second City faculty members Rachael Mason and Jeff Griggs will walk you through our creative process and give you the tools to utilize Improv, collaboration and the Yes And mentality to hone your process, sharpen your skills and open your mind to new avenues of creativity.
Jeff Griggs is the author of the book Guru; My Days with Del Close. He teaches History and Analysis of Modern Comedy in the Comedy Studies Program at Columbia College and Episodic Narrative for the Harold Ramis Film School.
