Help celebrate Special Olympics’ 50th Anniversary with the Commemorative Torch Run! Participants can choose to run the entire 4 mile route or join for the last 2 miles. Participants will run in formation at a 15 minute mile (4 miles per hour) pace. The group will be led by a law enforcement officer and Special Olympics athlete carrying the Flame of Hope.
The route runs along Lake Michigan in downtown Chicago and ends in Soldier Field. This event is limited to the first 50 people, so don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity!
Included in this event: transportation, lodging, registration and a Commemorative Torch Run dry-wick shirt.
