WHEN: Thursday, May 24 — 7:00 PM
WHERE: Revolution Brewing Brewers' Lounge (2nd Floor at Revolution Brewpub, 2323 N. Milwaukee Ave.)
More than six years in the making, it's finally here: the official release of Chicago Tribune beer writer Josh Noel's book, «Barrel-Aged Stout and Selling Out: Goose Island, Anheuser-Busch and How Craft Beer Became Big Business.» Josh will read a passage from the book, followed by a live Q&A with former Goose Island brewers from three different eras in the brewery's history: Josh Deth (founder of Revolution Brewing), Phil Wymore (founder of Perennial Artisan Ales) and Claudia Jendron (head of quality control at Pipeworks Brewing). That will be followed by audience Q&A, book sales from The Book Cellar and a book signing with the author. Revolution Brewing will tap Bonkers Ale, an extra special bitter inspired the brewery's deep history with Goose Island (which includes past stints for Deth, Brew Master Jim Cibak, pub brewer Wil Turner, brewery manager Glenn Allen and several others).
This event is FREE, though space is limited.
