Join us for an evening with master illusionist, Jeanette Andrews, in the grand Hall of Immotals at the International Museum of Surgical Science.
Shattering the mold of a traditional magic performance, magician and artist Jeanette Andrews leads this intimate evening of illusions where audience members will be guided through a series of magic & illusions… Andrews has developed an entirely new and thought-provoking take on the art of the impossible. Weaving together science and folklore with performance and experiments, the audience creates the performance by making crucial decisions and possessing seemingly impossible knowledge.
She comes to us fresh off of commissions for the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and Birmingham Museum of Art. She is the only magician worldwide known to be awarded an artist residency, including being a High Concept Labs Sponsored Artist and Artist in Residence for The Institute for Art and Olfaction. Hailed as one of the most innovative illusionists today, and «an inspiration,» illusion is Ms. Andrews’ life’s work and her performances have been praised by PBS, The Daily Mail, and the Chicago Tribune.
Doors to the Museum open at 6:00pm. Performance begins at 7:00pm. Museum exhibits open until 9:00pm.
