Sludge, noise and metal. NO MEN has no qualms when it comes to altering your capacity for hearing. This thundering doom power trio from Austin, TX has burrowed into the cold depths of Chicago’s rock scene to help stir up the pot. Causing a whirlwind of noise on their latest release, Dear God Bring The Doom, the rabid three-piece have scoured the country with an immense hunger to devour the unsuspecting fans of true rock. With one guitar, two drums and the most commanding force of dark vocals this side of the river, NO MEN will surely get you riled up for this gloom packed night of rockdom.
LUMPS used to be three dudes from sunny San Diego transplanted in cloudy San Francisco, who were looking to share their version of a dance party soundtrack with people who like their jams pounding, simple, and loud. While most of that still applies, LUMPS now operates out of Brooklyn, sometimes as an electro-garage-rock-one-man-show and other times as a full blown live band with real drums and everything. This time around, they’ll be comin’ full forced with an arsenal of heavy hitters.
Teetering on the brink of punk, alternative and grunge, PYLONS tear through the suture with reckless abandon and an eff-you attitude we’ve all grown to love around these parts. The dual vocals from Gretchen Hannum and Sam Fadness keep you locked in a frenzy of nostalgic 90s fury while still remaining refreshing and mighty. Head bangin’ ferocity at it’s finest.
