Join us on Friday the 13th (spooky!) to celebrate our July Rezident, PIXELFACE, with art displayed in video installations throughout the taproom, local music, and hand-crafted growlers created by the artists.
PIXELFACE is a new media collaboration between Ali Seradge and KT Duffy. The works presented as Artist in Residence at LoRez Brewery represent the artists’ first exhibition as PIXELFACE.
The narratives in the larger PIXELFACE timeline will center on the eponymous entity PIXELFACE, a sentient digital fungus spawned from the internet in the age of anxitement. PIXELFACE is new and PIXELFACE is learning. We invite you, the viewer, to enjoy the visual chaos that birthed PIXELFACE into existence. Stay tuned for the next chapter of PIXELFACE.
100% of the sales of selected small works will go to RAICES

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Ali Seradge applies Middle Eastern and Mediterranean myths to what screens show him of the current region. Seradge watched the Iran-Iraq War coverage side by side with fictional versions of war in the afternoon animation. He paints to reinvigorate myth with contemporary color and imagery present new meanings for a significantly different world.
KT Duffy creates carnal and colorful transmedia mashups that protrude outside of easy definition and circle cheekily around deep issues of humanity. Drawing from an expansive and obsessively created “library” of code snippets and cad/cam forms, Duffy creates pieces that fuse the aesthetics of digital devices with anatomical forms.
