Ville-A 8 will be great!!! Just a quick recap. Ville-A 1 was a party in our back yard and turned $0 in profit we actually were out about $500, but something was born and lit a fire that still burns because of our amazing supporters. Year 2, our first year at Canaryville Little League, we only charged $5 and we only profited $640. We made that an even $1,000 as our first donation to Canaryville little league. The next few years we raised the entrance fee, sold more merchandise, rented generators, etc… as expenses have grown so have the prices. We even successfully added a cooler fee and people have continued to support this amazing event. I was adding up our total donation’s over the first 7, and really the last 5 events that really made a profit. We have raised and donated a grand total of $40,377 dollars. The sincerest thank you on the planet is not enough to express our gratitude to every single person who has experienced one of our events. Thank you, thank you, a million thanks you are all amazing souls I’m proud to have shared these experiences with. All that being said I look forward to this year and planning has begun.
We of course would still have our amazing local
Ville-A-Palooza talent but we’re thinking of trying to secure an international up and coming band as our Headliner this year. These plans are in their infancy and may never come to fruition, but why not dream big and try and grow this little event to raise a lot more cash for some great organizations. If it’s feasible this will be a one year trial with paying a headliner for their services. This will only be done if it doesn’t price us out of our comfort zone. The last thing we want to do is create a crazy expensive event and price out you, our extremely generous loyal annual patrons. We also do not want to see a dip in our donation total which has been between $8,000-$9,700 over the last for years. After all the donations to our amazing organizations is really what this event is all about. I’d like to see if we can’t get that total over $10,000 this year and with the right people involved and your support I know we can make it happen.
